Salary Range: $1,680 ($210/week)
  • Beautiful Northwest location with forest and lakefront, one hour north of Seattle. Programs encourage camper growth and new friendships through a wide variety of activities. Employment includes full room & board, on-site laundry and a great outdoor work environment.
  • Facilitate Killoqua's climbing wall and high ropes course programs with a co-leader. Also lead initiative activities and low ropes course programs when available. Train counselors to facilitate initiative activities and the low ropes course.
  • Documented facilitator training and experience leading challenge activities required. On-site training may be possible in late May.

  • Guides are responsible for all things inherent in providing a safe, fun experience for our 13-18 year old clients.
  • We trip in the Tongass National Forest and up the Stikine and Iskut rivers in British Columbia, Canada.
  • Qualifications vary for each of our guide levels (1-4). Successful applicants will do their first program as a level 1 guide regardless of their skills and experience.
  • Alaska Crossings is a 46-day wilderness treatment program for youth with mental health illness. Each group is comprised of 3 staff and up to 9 participants. Our program is expedition based and each group completes an ocean canoeing trip, a hiking/mountaineering trip and a river canoeing trip.
